Process Was the Transformation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I kept waiting to get to the other side before realizing the journey to get there was the thing changing me.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think we have a tendency to look at transformation in hindsight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We see the person who finally set the boundary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The person who left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The person who started over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The person who found peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The person who learned to trust themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The person who built a life that feels completely different from the one they once lived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And from the outside, transformation can look like a moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A breakthrough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A before and an after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But when you&#8217;re the person actually living through it, it rarely feels that clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There can be a whole lot of mess in between.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There can be anger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Denial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Confusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moments of complete clarity followed by moments when you question everything again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can let go and then reach back for what you released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can know something isn&#8217;t right for you anymore and still grieve losing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can understand exactly what needs to change and still not feel ready to change it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can surrender&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and then discover there is another layer asking to be surrendered too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a long time, I think I viewed those parts as obstacles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Things I needed to work through so I could finally get to the healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Get to the peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Get to the new version of my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I&#8217;m starting to understand something differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Those parts weren&#8217;t delaying the transformation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They were the transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every time I questioned an old belief, something shifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every time I sat with an uncomfortable emotion instead of running from it, something shifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every time I noticed myself returning to an old pattern and chose differently \u2014 even if I didn&#8217;t choose differently the next time \u2014 something shifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every time I grieved something I knew I couldn&#8217;t carry forward, something shifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every time I surrendered, fought against surrender, and eventually surrendered again&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">something shifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe transformation isn&#8217;t the moment when everything finally falls into place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe transformation is what happens quietly while everything feels like it&#8217;s falling apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s the recalculating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The questioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The releasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The grieving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The resting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trying again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tiny decisions nobody else sees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And eventually, we look around and realize we&#8217;re standing somewhere different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not because we jumped from one version of ourselves into another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But because the person who walked through all of those moments couldn&#8217;t help but be changed by them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don&#8217;t think we need to rush through the messy middle anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don&#8217;t think we need to judge ourselves because we&#8217;re still angry, still grieving, still questioning or still figuring it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe those aren&#8217;t signs that we&#8217;re doing healing wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe they&#8217;re evidence that something is already moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because sometimes you don&#8217;t transform <strong>after<\/strong> the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The process is what transforms you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A gentle invitation to reflect<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Think about something you&#8217;ve been moving through in your own life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe you&#8217;ve been waiting to finally feel <em>finished<\/em> with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead, ask yourself:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How has moving through this already changed me?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What have you learned?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What have you released?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What do you understand now that you didn&#8217;t understand before?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What choices are you making differently?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And what if the parts you&#8217;ve been trying so hard to get through aren&#8217;t standing between you and your transformation?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What if they&#8217;re part of
